From the Manufacturer

Card sets and pocket charts have been used for years as interactive teaching tools. Our 3" x 3" cards are great for classroom use and fit nicely into Our Standard-Size (No. 741) and Midsize (No. 742) Pocket Charts or other similar wall charts. Easy-to-see cards help make visibility and recognition easier in the classroom. They also can be used as flash cards. Many of the card sets have a self-correcting feature that allows students to work independently. An activity guide with each set provides lots of tips about how to use the cards to make learning fun.

I bought these because I wanted flash cards that didn't have pictures on them and distinguised short and long vowels with different colors. Although, this product is mainly used as letter tiles for pocket charts that are used in classrooms, I simply needed flash cards. This product works great for this flash card purposes (although I would prefer the size of player poker cards thus a 4 star rating). I also use these to make real and nonsense words by manipulating beginning, middle, and end letters. I turn this into a game that my students and my personal kids love. These cards are durable, thick, and will last a long time!

I purchased these letters as a way to help my autistic son learn letters and recognize how to spell words. These were a great tool. I like that the vowels are red and the consonants are blue. This helps my son to recognize the difference. They are the perfect size and are durable.Highly recommend as an educational tool.

I had this product sent to my 3 year old Grandson. He has long known all the letters and their sounds, but to actually put the letters together and make a word eluded him. This set has provided the missing link he needed to form words and now read. (P.S....not entirely on his own. His Dad works with him every day.)

Product is just as expected. Cards are good quality, bright colors, & packaged well. I purchased the table top and mid sized pocket chart. It works perfectly with the mid size and we still use it for the table top, even though they are slight large for it. I've purchased more of their products since then.

This is a good hands-on spelling activity. It helps students who are young and in the age group who don't sit still as long as older students, and also good for any age students - who learn by doing.

I love this product. We use it daily in my classroom when we do the "Making Words" program. It makes it very easy for kids to manipulate the letters and build words.

I love these cards. I don't use them in a pocket chart, just lay them out on the table. They include vowel cards with long and short markings.

Cards are durable. I like that they included regular and vowels marked long or short. My main issue with the cards is that the letter y is only blue. I bought the cards to reinforce my phonics lesson and emphasize that each word must contain a vowel. Color coding a few of the y cards red would have this a perfect set. Another minor issue is all the letters are throw together in box. I have had to sort and bag the letters to facilitate speed and minimize interruptions to lessons
