I loved it! I have all the rest of her CD's too. I especially like that she includes all the words to the songs with the CD so you can sing along. Very nice harmonies there.

Some of her songs remind me of the 'better' summer camp songs... not the silly rowdy ones, but the pretty songs you sing at the end of the campfire and get all nostalgic about years later.

This is a lovely CD...Mae's voice is so sweet and easy to listen to...incredible harmonies, great musicians, wonderful choice of songs, and a hidden track (thus the title of the CD...Smile!) You will not be sorry for buying this wonderful wonderful compilation of songs....American Tune, Seven Shades of Blue, Feels Like Home, oh man, just a great CD.

Lucinda Williams's "Side Of The Road" is an album highlight. It is hard to improve on the original recording's great melody and story telling lyrics. Mae uses a slow tempo which gives the listener time to reflect on the images - taking it from a song to a imaginary video with a soundtrack with it's own . With the exception of an absence of her own material (Mae's writing is able to stand equal to these writers) this is a well crafted album which will provide hours of enjoyment. Highly recommended!
