Best of all are Sun's photos of smiling people, vivid with color and sunlight.

Includes riveting stories about how smiling helped diffuse a tense stand-off with Iraqis for US soldiers, and how it helped someone to escape from a prison camp. Wild!

I've enjoyed Sun's photography and friendship for years now, but Smile is definitely his best work yet. Not only can you not stop smiling at everyone and everything after reading this beautiful piece of artistry (which alone makes it a must read), but it is a book that can change your life. Being in joy and gratitude is what life is all about, and Sun brings you into that state of happiness effortlessly through Smile. When I was reading the book Smile I was thinking OH My Good how simple and yet how complicated it is to smile. There are many good examples of why it is good to smile, I also think that you will be less stressed when you have read the book. Elan Sun Star has a a very good way to explain things so they get understandable for every one. We can say that smile is a free medicine with out any side effects what so ever. I know several persons who will get the book as a present from me. Because I care for them and I am sure they will live longer and their blood pressure will go down after reading the book Smile. So give the book to the ones you care for. I almost forgot to mention all the lovely pictures in the book. Elan Sun Star is the best.

A relevant and mind-opening question for our day is, "Does our current world seek out pleasure or pain in daily living?" To look at the media and marketing trends, the answer surely calls out pleasure, everywhere----but at what cost and/or pain to the human spirit?

When you first pick up the Smile! book your eyes have a love affair with the incredible photos dispersed throughout the text. There is a good reason for this: the author is arguable the most renowned photographers on Hawaii and his worked has graced well over 10,000 magazines and publications across the globe. When you look at these photos you feel as though you are looking through the eyes of God. The author then takes you through an insightful journey into the power of a smile, something that many people seem to think is a relic in the modern business world. Elan Sun Star proves, in fact, that your smile is the most powerful thing you have going in your arsenal to get you not only through your day with ease, but to each step in your life's journey - from your relationship with your loved ones, to a new job, and most importantly to the heart of your own soul and to the heart of everyone around you. So many have seen "The Secret" teachers on Oprah, but Oprah missed a very important guest by not yet inviting Elan Sun Star, the author of this book to her show because he proves it is not always a matter of doing things that get you what you want and where you need to go but is rather a state of being. I couldn't put it down and was astounded at his insights, particularly on relationships and health. I would highly recommend this incredible book to quite literally everyone. I don't know too many people that have reached their smile quoto in this lifetime!

I also would recommend the bonus interviews that you can find on his site www.smilesbook.com that he has done with authors like Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Rollin McCraty, and others that are currently free downloads. I don't know how much longer he will have these as free downloads on his site so I would suggest that everyone get them while they can and help spread smiles to the world. Smile!

I've marveled at Sun Star's photography for years. His ability to capture the emotion of joy is quite remarkable. I enjoyed seeing many photos of his that I had not seen before receiving this book.
