Like Smith's "Little Torch" itself, this stand doesn't take up much space: that base can't cover the palm of my hand, and the whole thing is barely 6" tall. It does the job just fine, though. That magnetic grip holds the torch firmly, but lets go without a struggle. Holes in the base keep your extra tips conveniently at hand. A non-skid layer underneath helps keep it steady and protects the surface under the heavy metal base.
This isn't a must-have for Little Torch users - you could make a workable stand easily enough, or not bother. It helps keep your workbench neat and organized, though, and that's a real plus for the shop that's short on space. -- wiredweird |
