antidote for low blood pressure,

This review is from: Internet Cleanup 5.0 (CD-ROM)
I installed this software which I purchased with my new Mac Mini. The program installer suggested that I include Internet Cleanup in the startup disc. On restarting all I got was an image in the middle of the screen of a circle with a line through it. After an hour on the phone with Apple tech support we managed to reboot my Mac with safe boot. (Rebooting from the disc didn't work.) We (Apple Tech Support and I) couldn't find a site on the web that provided guidance on how to uninstall this toxic little gem. I did the equivalent of uninstalling Internet Cleanup by reinstalling my computer's operating system and archiving the original software (which quarantined Internet Cleanup). That took three hours. In all it took less than five minutes to install Internet Cleanup and four hour to repair the damage.

How do I uninstall this thing!,
By Kelly (CA) - See all my reviews

This thing doesn't do much, but makes everything more complicated. I've been trying to uninstall it for a while now, I've deleted the program from my Mac, but everytime I plug in a USB drive, it still pops up, asking for my password. I can't find where it is in my computer...but it's there. Does anyone know how to get rid of it??

Once this thing gets on your hard drive, the game is over. You lose, and you lose big.
