Overall, I recommend this knife to anyone who needs a cheap priced back-up to your Cold Steel or Kershaw, but is strong and durable enough for the task at hand!

The features and quality are what you would expect from a knife costing much more.

I'm a BIG Fan of Tanto Style Blades, BIG Fan of Black Coated Blades and also knives that have more than 1 function as this one has all of the above!! I wasn't too sure about the S&W Knives as these aren't actually manufactured by Smith and Wesson but I was pleasantly surprised about this particular one. It's hefty(perfect for the glass breaker), both seat belt cutter and main blade came very sharp, the grip is very gritty and if you are not careful it will destroy fabric(pants and coat pockets...etc)! I haven't used the sharpener but it is a plus just to have it as an extra. Overall, I recommend this knife to anyone who needs a cheap priced back-up to your Cold Steel or Kershaw, but is strong and durable enough for the task at hand! 5 Stars

This knife is larger than expected, very sturdy, and has a nice grip. It has seatbelt cutter and window breaker on the end, so you can keep it in you car as a rescue knife, but it also has a large, sharp blade, so you can use it as a regular knife too. For 18$ this was a steal

This is a very cool knife. It fits perfectly in my hand, with a sandy-rough finish to prevent slipping. The blade opens easily with a flick of the wrist after it is opened slightly with the thumb and forefinger (the slight bias to closing makes it legal to carry in Calif). The motion feels quite natural. The blade locks firmly into place using a mechanism that is inside the handle. It would take quite a force to cause this blade to accidentally close on your fingers and its location makes it virtually impossible to accidentally undo the blade lock. It also came very sharp out of the box, but the overall look and feel of the knife is the best part. It is just very cool. There is no other way to describe it. When open, the knife is a full 9 inches in length, so it isn't something you would carry in your dress suit pocket, This is actually the third one I have bought. I had two, one for each of my vehicles, but the price on this one was so good (it was less than the other two even with the diamond sharpener) I couldn't pass up ordering another one.

This is a large knife and very impressive. It clips right into my pocket. I always have these on hand and have given many to my friends as gifts. Highly recommend.

I had a the same knife a while back, i got it at a big5 sporting goods, except it had a serrated blade. the knife lasted me over a year, i even dropped it off of my ATV while riding, and it hit a bunch of rocks and still worked fine. the blade stayed sharp for a long time, i abuse knifes a lot. it vanished one day. i ordered this one and it got to my moms house in 2 days! then my mom shipped it to me while i am out here in Afganistan. For some reason they will not ship knife's to an fpo/apo address, i dont know why. anyways this is an amazing knife. the only other knife i have had that took as much abuse and lasted almost 4 years was a Gerber paraframe knife. it finally broke after 4 years. who knows how long this knife will last. you cant go wrong for these knife's for the money.

well i have had the knife for almost a month now.. not to much use. it is already starting to get loose, and opens partially without me wanting it to. the part on the blade that you use to hold and open the knife are loose and spin half way around. this knife is horrible quality compared to the last one i had like it. Smith&Wesson have really dropped the ball on how products are made. i may just use Gerber from now on. i wish i would of just paid the extra money for a better knife company.

For being a "pocket knife" it is quite large both in width and length. I keep it in my truck for emergency's and don't carry it. It is fairly sharp and i think its good quality. If you are looking for something to carry every day get something smaller and lighter.

Awesome knife for the price. Blade came sharp and holds a good edge. Strap cutter works great for rope and cord. The sharpening rod was a nice addition, though fits a bit loosely in its cover.
