I am going to be brutally honest. I definitely didn't think that these were going to be worth the money. I was wrong. I got these shortly after my purchase, and I found them to very effective. I have used them several times to restrain people, and they have functioned perfectly. The hinge is nice and loose, and the strap cycles through smoothly. I have found the links to be strong, and the double lock feature works properly. I actually prefer to use these over the standard issued peerless given to me by my department. Any police officer would be happy to use these hand cuffs.

I am not an expert on handcuffs, but these are very solid, have a durable feel, snap on fast and easy, and easy to take off. I can't imagine anyone being able to get out of these without the pin. Although these might have recreational use (I am told!), I got them for the house just in case someone comes in uninvited and needs to be restrained until the police arrive. I am very pleased with the quality and price of this purchase and the prompt delivery.
