Functional and pretty ... sharp and discreet ...the perfect pocket knife. Item exactly as described and lightning fast delivery! I would highly recommended this knife time and time again.

Description is incorrect as this is a liner lock and not a framelock. For the money it is a good light weight pocket knife with a sharp carbon steel blade, a good fit liner lock and a fast easy open with 2 thumb studs. It probably won't last too long if you are beating it up every day but for occasional use this is a good deal.

Ok, I guess I should have payed more attention to the "rainbow" color description of this knife.

Is it well-built? Yes! Is it sharp and functional? Yes. Is it manly enough for the men? Not really.

While the blade and outside surface are flat black, the metal interior housing has this crazy rainbow "Barbie" coloring on it. It could almost pass for a child's toy if it wasn't a real knife.

For a little more than $11, I really shouldn't be complaining. I mean, I'm gonna keep it. I'm secure enough in my own manhood. But I thought I'd mention these things in case some of you aren't.

One last question. Am I trying to be funny here? Yes!

This knife is not made or distributed by Smith & Wesson, the company that distributes it pays somebody for the right to put the name S&W on it.

I bought the knife for cutting regular and thorn vines when going through undergrowth in the woods. I checked it out when I got it. It worked fine so I threw it in my bag and forgot about it until I needed it a few months later. After I opened it, it would not close. I sent it back to the company and they sent me a replacement. I opened it and it would not close. By this time I had invested $2.50 in a $10 knife. I threw it away rather than up my investment to $5 in a defective $10 knife. It didn't matter to me because I'm accustomed to using both hands to open a folding knife, but it was too stiff for me to open with the quick open thumb stud. I could do it if I gave it all I had, but it was slow and hurt my hand.

Edited to add: The company sent me a third knife without requiring me to return the one I had thrown away. This one works properly and serves my purpose well so I increased my rating from 1 star to 2 stars. If I had gotten this one originally, given the cheap price I would probably have rated it 4, possibly 5 stars. Understand, even without its jamming problems, this is not a 4 or 5 star knife if you are comparing it with knives like Kershaw, Spyderco, etc.

The S&W CK113S is a good knife at its price. Nothing can possibly go wrong with this knife. The only possible dislike about the knife is that the knife has a fairly small handle and the thumb studs are a tad small. Other than that, it's a satisfying knife! Very lightweight! Comfortable! The clip sits comfortably. Doesn't come extremely sharp, but sharp enough to cut thin paper!

The blade is too short. Good for carry around for utility works but too small for self protection.
The quality seems to be good but it needs time to proof that.
I owned a Mtech Xtreme MX807A which last a year then fell apart by itself. I never used the knife for anything except carried it when I walked my dog at night in the woods. The screws were loose and the blade came off from the handle. So, I need few more months to see if Smith Wesson has better quality than Mtech.

Good size, nice balance, fairly sharp. Just don't forget that it has rainbowed steel in the handle. I originally got this for me but decided it would be a better stocking stuffer for my girlfriend once I realized I overlooked the part about the handle.

The blade gets stuck in the opened position if the blade is snapped opened but works find if you open slow. I spent less then $12 on this and it is okay for the money
