I picked up one of these in an Amazon Lightning Deal. I needed to upgrade to my old Eveready D-Cell Flashlight. This fit the bill perfectly.

Pros:

- Installing the 3-AAA batteries was a breeze.
- The cover that screws on to the bottom has an O-ring for what appears to be a water-tight seal.
- Very comfortable in the hand.
- Bright and clear LEDs.

Cons

- There is no on/off for each color. You have to cycle through Red, Blue and Off. This means you can't just turn on Red and then turn off Red.
- No way to have White, Red and Blue all on at the same time. Not really a big deal, but it would have been cool to have. Think maximum light!

The light is well worth the price. It functions exactly as the mfgr claim. Be sure to notice the size before you buy. It is close to being to big for belt use. There is no wrist strap. You will have to create your own. This is a utility light after all.

Just received my light, and so have no reliability info. But it appears to be very well built, casts a nice even beam, even in the red and blue lights. You might think that the colored lights have little purpose, but very useful for night vision (like reading maps in a dark car)

The only gripe I might have is that for a light of this size, you'd think they could squeeze AA batteries in it rather than the 3 AAA batteries it takes (included). Has a nice belt pouch that actually will fit any size belt, and a Velcro loop for hanging around something other than a belt (like a door handle or bar).

I bought one of these at Walmart and love it. It's very solid and works great for hunting in the blue or green mode. I got tired of buying a flashlight that just ended up broken, this one works perfect and has yet to break.

The blue and the red led lights a great when viewing movies at my home theatre setup. When I need to find something or use a remote, they provide just the right lighting without interrupting the ambiance. VERY sturdy flashlight that is built to take a beating outdoors as well. When working outdoors at night this thing comes in very handy. It is small enough to carry around on the provided (very nice) holster type pouch without standing out too much, so this helps it become an all around use indoor and outdoor helper. At the 15 I paid I am luvin' it. Unless I needed it professionaly I would not pay the normal 25, but that's cause I NEED a deal, I can't pay more once I've seen it for less!

This is exactly what it is described to be. And exactly what I expect from smith & wesson. High Quality tactical flash light.
All positive. There are no cons. Period!
The size I expected it to be.
The brightness as described and what I expected it to be.
High quality product, and nothing less.
Water tight seal.

I read the reviews before purchase, and just as I suspected, some people don't seem to read, or understand what it is they are reading and buying. Maybe they need to brush up on there English or something, I don't know, but I got exactly what I wanted, and expected based on description.

Highly recommend if the description matches what your looking for, then this is the product for you. A++ WIll buy 1-2 more very soon. I want one in every car, and a couple rooms in the house.

My husband listed a good flashlight on his Christmas list. So, I started searching. He did not give me any suggestions or details. He is a military pilot, so I decided to look for one's that had reviews by other pilots. I was not sure what he wanted or needed but I liked the idea that it was LED with multiple choices for colors and that it was by Smith & Wesson. When he recieved this as a gift he was very pleased! And he is very diffcult person to please with gadgets of any type. He used it while he was home for R&R and never complained. He was suprised that I had made such a good choice! Thanks Smith & Wesson. This is a great gift for a very particular aviator! The case is nice too.

I searched for different flashlights before I bought. I came across the good reviews for this one. I use it for mostly walking my dogs at night and since we live near a desert area the green light is great to help me see but without distracting my dogs.
The white LEDS are great as well. And the red light is great for reading maps at night so it doesnt affect your natural night vision.

We love this flashlight and after owning it for 15 months and using it infrequently, it went out. My husband thought it could have even been dropped by one of the little ones visiting our house. Since we were not sure why it was not working properly, I called the manufacturer to ask some questions, hoping we could get it working again. Way above our expectations, they gave us the number of the company that makes these for Smith & Wesson and I phoned them, a live person answered the phone (that in and of itself is so amazing) and no questions asked (although I volunteered the information) she asked me to send the flashlight in, if they cannot get it working, they will replace it! Who does things like this any more. This is a quality flashlight, we loved the weight of it and the quality of the LED, and obviously they stand behind their product. Worked fine, I'm no expert. The power went out and it
came in handy. Not sure if the red and blue made a
difference but it helped pass time.
