5.0 out of 5 stars Good handcuffs, January 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Smith & Wesson Model 300 Hinged Nickel Handcuffs (Misc.)
These handcuffs work the same and are the same size as the chain models. Hinges appear strong and finish is good. The only problem I see is if you encounter someone with large wrists you'll have a hard time speed cuffing. The Peerless hinged cuffs have a larger opening and make doing that easier.

5.0 out of 5 stars S&W Model 300 Shown is an Excellent Product but S&W Model 1H is Even Better, April 9, 2007
I have pairs for both the 300 and 1H that I use as a police officer. Smith & Wesson and Peerless both make excellent handcuffs. The hinged cuffs restrict a prisoner's movements much greater than just regular chain cuffs. The model 300 fits almost all wrists but S&W also make the model 1H which fits up to 25% larger wrists down to 25% smaller wrists. I carry the 1H as my primary handcuffs and the 300 is an extra pair for mass arrests. You should expect to pay $35 to $45 for the 300 and $40 to $50 for the 1H. Be sure to always double lock the cuffs as S&W cuffs are very easy to pick open when not double locked.

They work well. Nicely crafted and work flawlessly. Just make sure you don't loose the key. Can make situations awkward.
