This is an extremely cheap watch and straps. You have to (as another person stated) Macgyver the straps to catch essentially holding the watch on your wrist. The watch fogged over just from the condensation on my arm, in the first 10 minutes. I called Smith and Wesson and they told me that I had to call the company that made the watch and straps. Smith and Wesson would not stand behind their product at all, which is the reason I will never buy another product from them. I would suggest to save your money for a product that actually works the way it was intended right out of the box. Shame on you Smith and Wesson for outsourcing a product, and selling it to the public knowing that it doesn't work properly.

I bought this military watch w/ a 3 strap gift set for my husband. And he LOVED it!! The delivery was very fast(considering it was shipped all the way from NY)& the condition of the package was good. Customer service was great, they responded right away. i'll be buying from them again & will recommend others.
---------2 weeks later---------
My husband was very upset! Not only did this watch cost us over $30 but he only wore it maybe 12 times before the watch just STOPPED working, and when we contacted customer service they were very rude and unhelpful!!
Very disappointed about the product itself so buyers BEWARE, cheaply made, look for a different watch!! (if I could rate this product lower then 1 star I would.)

I recommend that nobody purchases this watch. Mine broke after a month, I sent it back to Smith & Wesson and they sent me a completely different watch about 12 weeks later. I sent that back and they eventually sent me the correct replacement after another 8 weeks. That watch broke within a week. Very cheap materials. Please don't buy this- it is junk.

I really like the look of this watch, but it's quality is absolute garbage.
Condensation would build inside the watch quickly, making it stop working randomly.
The knob on the side fell right out after a month making it impossible to change the time after it stopped working randomly from said condensation.
The pins holding the straps wouldn't hold very strong.

Pretty much go buy a Timex Weekender instead.

Even though it's only twenty dollars and you're not expecting much comming out of the box, you would at the very least assume the a watch would be able to do the one function it was designed to. This watch cannot. It constantly pauses, falls behind in time, and even stops altogether. I don't recommend this product to any one.

Thinking you will receive a great watch for a good price!!!? NONONONO! it is just a piece of garbage!!!!!!!; has stooped in few hours; on reality it is a chinese branded watch. Smith & Wesson don't fabricate watches. I am a international buyer and now, i am suffering because i've lost my money! in the end, the cheap becamed very expensive!!!

The watch itself works great and looks better than what you pay for, but the three little straps that come with the watch are very cheap. It takes some real MacGyvering to make them work. The real problem is the little metal thing doesn't catch on to the big metal thing so it comes off a lot. Watch itself is wonderful.

If you think you're going to get a Real McCoy military watch for a bit over $20, you must be very optimistic. But having said that, this is still a "real" watch in that it looks good, is made of steel and is very accurate. (That's the beauty of a quartz movement - it doesn't have to cost the earth to be accurate.)

As you'd expect with a watch with a push-on back, its waterproof rating is modest, but adequate for everyday use. Just don't tempt fate by showering or swimming in it, and you should be okay.

The three canvas bands are VERY robust, with sewn double layers of canvas. However, the buckle looks a little fragile. Some may find the bands a little stiff at first but they will soften and "bed in" with wear. Unlike NATO type bands that have a keeper sub-strap, you can adjust the watch on these simple one-piece bands until both the watch and buckle centre perfectly on either side of your wrist.

The black and white watch face looks good although the hands are a give-away: decidely "budget" in appearance but acceptable. However, the time and date are easily readable. The case is coated in an attractive satin black finish, and in my opinion, looks best in the sand-coloured band. I think this black watch looks much better than its silver-coated brother, which I also own.

If night-time readabilty is important to you, forget it. There is some token lume on the two main hands only but it's very weak and next to useless at night. As I said, token. On the positive side, the red second hand indexes nicely with the second and hour markings.

Despite its shortcomings, this is a good choice if you're looking for a cheap but not nasty watch with a rugged outdoors look to it. The size is neither too big nor too small - very comfortable. It would also make a perfect gift for a youngster with a liking for gear with a military look: inexpensive yes but a toy no.

If this watch cost $80+, I would give it three stars, but at its very modest asking price, it deserves four. It would cost you more than $20 just to buy the three canvas bands from a specialist supplier, assuming you can find one!

Okay, it's not a Hamilton Khaki or Fortis Flieger. But it's accurate, seems durable, is rugged looking and won't make you cry if you break it. What else do you want for 22 bucks?

This watch worked great for 2 months, then the stem fell out. I only wore this on the weekends, so maybe 15 or 20 days total use. I only paid just over $20, so I'm not going to haggle over some warranty replacement. Bottom line, keep your money.
