Purchased for grand children, they search and compared rocks for hours. Great little book.

Item was exactly as stated and in good condition. It was shipped in a timely manner.

They were selling this book at the Scout Store and my son LOVES anything scouting related. He adores this series of books-we recommend them all.

Since I'm APO/FPO, I usually have to wait 3 months to get used books from Amazon Market Place. However, not with Bay City Books (CA 94510): I got the order within the week!!! That's a first. My kids are going to be able to receive it for the holidays, which was unexpected. About the book: why is it out of print? It's perfect for K-6 to start their fossil hunting hobby. We have a whole bunch of these books, but this one is the best for kids: it's visual, well organised, has lots of caption and to-the-point text. As always with DK, the pictures are clear and colourful. The book, by the way was "new", not used. Which is even better.
Once again: Bay City Books, you have outstanding service!

I bought this for my 8-yr old grandson, and he loved it! Lots of neat projects inside.
