A most excellent guide especially for outdoor people,

This is a very good guidebooks for hikers and people that want to see some great outdoor sites--good photo ops as well as good places to hike. The book doesn't shows trails, but it gives great advice about places to see--you can then look up trails in the area to see how far you might want to hike.We followed several of the stops on a drive through California Hwy 1 and this book covered a lot of territory. I own several in the series and this one is the best.
