Authentic Hawaiian Dress, August 4, 2010
The is a basic sundress, and the print is very pretty, shades of blue with very dark blue pineapples edging the bottom. It felt a little loose in the top and a little snug at the knee, compared to other dresses like this that I've bought over time, but it was fine for a cookout. I bought this to match the shirt I bought for my boyfriend, and the effect was really cute. I'm not sure I would wear it out dancing or somewhere that I had to move around a lot, but it was great for what I needed, and I'll probably wear it again around town, with a good bra. I'm a curvy girl, size 20, and the XL seemed to fit pretty well, except as I mentioned above. I ordered it one week before I needed it, and opted for normal shipping. When I noticed from the tracking number that the package was STILL in Hawaii several days later, I contacted the seller and he assured me that it was ahead of schedule. It arrived the same day I needed it, and I was so relieved. I will likely shop with Mauishirts again.
