5.0 out of 5 stars a steady in my cd changer for over a year, July 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Smoke (1995 Film) (Audio CD)
this is one of the best "put it in, sit back, and listen to it" cd's I have ever bought. Every song is great, and the music is not your popular stuff on the radia, but real music with feeling and style. I would highly recommend this cd for anyone who appreciates the art of song.

The Jerry Band cover of "Smoke gets in your eyes" makes owning this album a must! One last gem from a great muscian.

5.0 out of 5 stars Under the Radar, April 10, 2008

This is a find. Okay, who doesn;t love Tom Waits and Jerry Garcia, but I'd previously never been nuts about Louis Prima (Brooklyn Boogie) or Screamin' Jay Hawkins (Hong Kong). And I'd never even heard of Sophia George (Sexy Dumb Dumb) or Annabouboula (BAby Wants Kisses). An eclectic masterpiece.

5.0 out of 5 stars An eclectic gem, November 8, 2010
This review is from: Smoke (1995 Film) (Audio CD)
This goes all over the place, stylistically. But, it works well. I have worn this out.
And, one of the beautiful things about soundtracks is discovery. The things on here that I was unaware of have led me to further pleasures.
Buy this. You'll be happy.
