OK, here's the deal. This is a killer record. I think the songs are catchier, groovier, and more user friendly than some of the other stoner/doom/southern metal I've heard in the last few years. I am a huge fan of Down and I honestly believe that this is better front to back than any of their 3 albums. I dig this way more than Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. The guitars are comepletey rifftastic, the vocals are well sung and completely understandable but still have a nice edge. Nice energy throughout this disc. Pick this up and get an advantage over your buddies that are buying all the huge mainstream stuff. This CD will make you cool.

I have gotten a few gems off this small stone records and this is another the first half has a kiss meats a good southern rock band to it the second song shoot the moon and the last 4 or 5 songs the sinner sounds like leeny of motherhead and the music like a good hard southern rock band .The standouts are shooth the moon ,gunfight , brideges, and getaway. The production is not that good in a few songs but i am telling you these guys are good .If you are looking for something different try this cd i am sure itwont let you down.
