A great historical account of Elliott Barker's years in New Mexico. It is full of interesting short stories that captivate your attention and leave you dreaming about what once was. I loved all the stories, but especially loved the encounters with bears. Elliott Barker truly lived an amazing life, and his writing makes you feel like you were there.
