LIKE MOST PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN THIS MOVIE 1 THING IS IN COMMON THIS MOVIE NEEDS TO BE PUT ON DVD !! IT IS A SHAME THAT IN THIS DAY AND AGE THAT AMAZON.COM AND OTHER RETAILERS AND DISTUBTORS DON'T EITHER SEE OR CARE TO STEP IN AND DEMAND THAT RARE FAMILY MOVIES LIKE THIS BE PUT ON DVD AT A PRICE THAT IS REALISTIC AND NOT AT A PRICE THAT ONLY THE VERY RICH CAN AFFORD, 2ND VHS TAPES ARE OUT DATED AND DONT LAST !!LETS ALL MOVE TO THE 21 CENTURY FOLKS ...
IT IS TRULY A SHAME THAT A FAMILY MOVIE THIS SPECAIL WILL BE LOST AND FORGGOTON !!BECAUSE A FEW LAZY EXECUTIVES WON'T GET OFF THEIR BUTTS AND DEMAND THAT THE FILM MAKERS AND DISTRIBUTORS MAKE THESE RARE AND WONDERFUL MOVIES AVAIABLE ON DVD ...

I have this movie and I love it as much as my other Christmas movies. You will definitely have a warm fuzzy feeling from watching...But...............if you pay anywhere close to what these people are asking....that warm fuzzy feeling will be gone in a heartbeat.

It's a great movie for the holidays, but $7.99 tops for DVD if it ever comes out on DVD and $4.99 for VHS tops.

I have it, I've watched it several times, and I know what i'm talking about.....don't pay this kind of money for this movie or anything like it.....

Great movie! My whole family enjoys watching it year after year! Dolly Parton and Lee Majors make a geat team for this heartwarming Christmas tale.

This is a very good video for the collection (however paying $40+ for the VHS is crazy). Dolly Parton and Lee Majors are very good in this. The story is a bit hoakey, but I don't mind it since it is a good story with no political correctness or other garbage such as the A Very Muppet Christmas was laden with. Good and safe one for the family to watch!
I wish it was released on DVD!

I was so excited to have to opportunity to purchase this movie until I saw the scalper prices!!!!!!!!

I'm dreaming of a Smoky Mountain Christmas... Dolly Parton, country music superstar is known for her deep "roots" and love for home and family. This movie takes you back to the real meaning of family and Christmas. Excellent family film. Dolly is terrific and full of great original holiday songs!!

I am I huge Dolly Parton fan and this is a great movie. I had a copy on VHS unitil I foolishly let someone borrow it and it was never returned. I wish it would be released on DVD. I would also like to see Kenny and Dolly's A Christmas to Remember special released on DVD. I just wanted to say its a great movie but its a shame people are asking such rediculous prices for them on here I think I only paid like $15 or $20 for the copy I had but that was quite a few years ago. I wish I still had my copy.

What a wonderful movie! Will wait and buy it when it is on DVD!

I love this movie. I am from the Smoky Mountains and now live in SE Georgia. I love to watch this movie to remind me of home, or what I call "God's country".

This movie is a little hokey in places, but all in all, a nice family movie. It is a totally safe movie to watch with your children. No obscene language or violence.

I wish it would be released on DVD. I try to watch it on TV every year. This year (2003) CMT is airing it several times. Go to www.cmt.com to see air dates and times.

This is a warm and funny movie for the entire family. A lot of hijenks and a little bit of funny whitchcraft that makes you just want to laugh yourself silly! Dolly Parton and Lee Majors give great performances along with the rest of the cast. I love this movie! And you will too.
