"Smooth" is not the word to describe this jazz masterpiece. Gerald Albright, a successful artist in the contemporary jazz music sphere has the ability to produce beautiful songs due to his talent on the saxophone. Not only is he powerful but he combines other musical elements such as R & B along with strong vocals to give his songs a flavour and character like no other. This album is the turning point in his career I believe from great to super and his talent is among the top 10 in his category. "Smooth" is an album that can be played through and through. It's upbeat, soulful and very inspirational. Don't hesitate to buy this album.

After hearing this cd at a friends house, I left for it. And since then, I've been a firm collector of G. Albright cd's. Take a seat and listen to that cool sax playing of tracks like Anniversary or This is for the Love in You. Thanks for the good work and keep it up.

After finding that the original CD started skipping I almost panicked. But I searched Amazon and found a new copy of this CD. I love the way Gerald Albright plays melodies in such a way that he makes me feel that he is singing to me personally. The grooves on this recording are all performed well and I highly recommend this as a great way to get your day started.

Not too many hits on this album and shows lack of concentration and devotion to his music. I hope he's a good family man since that's what he seems to have going for him...

This cd is so awesome. Whenever I travel, I like to take along new cds, but I always take old faithful. This one never lets me down. I could listen to it over and over.
