If your hair has any dye or bleach in it (doesn't matter if it's been there for a while) then it WILL break. It will look like you literally fried your hair. Otherwise it seems like it might be ok to use.

It's a problem for me just because I have bleach in my hair and like to dye it a lot. Oh well....

I have used several different relaxer types over the years. I was recently unemployed and tried Pink Smooth Touch Relaxer Kit because it was the least expensive. Well you get what you pay for! I have long hair and some people believe that I should not relax my hair at all because of the type of hair I have. I can usually relax my hair very easily. However if you have long thick hair don't buy this unless you don't mind buying two kits for your hair. There was not enough relaxer to complete my hair. I have never experienced running of the relaxer with any other brand, which meant that I ended up with 1/4 of my hair not relaxed! Also the shampoo was minimal I ran out of that also! When I was ready to comb out my hair - it was really tangled and hard to comb through even though I was using a wide tooth comb! To sum it up there was not enough relaxer, shampoo and barely enough of the conditioner! I will never buy this product again!

Ive used many types of perms and needless to say that when I found this one I had to look no further. I absolutely love it. It is perfect for my hair type and the price is mored than right (of course I purchase from my local walmart for $3.29) It is safe and realiable and I would recommend it for any and all hair types, unless your hair is unusually course. Been using for about a 1 1/2 now and still LOVE IT, so many people ask me where do I get my hair done, Ive even been asked who does my perm and what kind of perm I use. Ive turned so many women onto this particular perm, its great!

I USUALLY PURCHASE FROM THE STORE BUT TRIED IT ANYWAY. FOUND PRODUCT FRESH AND EFFECTIVE EVEN BETTER THAN STORE BOUGHT WILL BUY AGAIN
