My name is Jamie Fox and I currently attend college full time to become an elementary education teacher for second grade. I am also a stay at home mom to my five month old son who is my pride and joy, Alex. Since becoming a mother, my perspective on life has completely changed. I enjoy waking up everyday to my son's beautiful face. I find myself eating healthier, exercising, and remaining positive through all things to set a good example for Alex. Being positive and staying focused on my health has not always been a major goal for me. I use to not care about what I ate, how much physical activity I was participating in, and seemed to view different aspects of life in a negative way. I had anxiety, depression, and was unhappy with my body when looking in the mirror. I never went out of my way to help others, and instead I judged them for the things they did with their lives. Instead of taking action and changing my life for the better, I criticized others. I decided to change the way I was living my life. I began eating healthy, exercising, and doing various things everyday to better myself and my outlook on life. I then met my amazing fiance and he pushed me to be the best person that I could be. I have not stopped thinking positive and doing positive things since then. I am much happier, in better shape, and enjoy waking up everyday and doing something new. I live by the quote: "Take pride in how far you have come and have faith in how far you can go." You are the only one who can make a change, for better or for worse. I chose to make a change for the better. You are capable of anything if you put your mind to it. Wake up everyday trying to be the BEST you.

The author is a mother and an expert on smoothies. The recipes I especially liked were the ones for strawberry smoothies and tropical smoothies. Smoothies are healthy. They give you energy, supply your body with nutrients, and help with weight loss. With 101 recipes in this book, you can try one smoothie a day for more than three months and never become bored! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys smoothies.

When I purchased this book I wasn't sure about trying different smoothies but they have given me more energy and I am feeling great. I have even given them to my two boys and they love them. I really enjoyed the veggie smoothies which in the past I couldn't stand neighbour recipes really make them fast wonderful. The protein ones also go really well with all my physical workouts. Thank you for this wonderful book, everyone should try at least some of all of these smoothies you will see a difference in your health.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I read the whole book the same night I downloaded it on my Kindle. I was so interesting and all the recipes sound delicious. I don't know which one I want to try first.
I am overweight and have high blood pressure and have type 2 diabetes plus psoriatic arthritis, so I am very interested in trying some of these recipes and on medication for all three.

Thank you so much. I can't wait to get started.
