This is a really unique collection of music and one that definitely deserves a listen. Zallen's style is very different to anything you will have heard before. Every track has a different vocal style and musical arrangement, and the whole album is so full of catchy melodies that you will never get tired of listening to it. I've hardly taken it out of my CD player since I got it! It's also great to hear interesting and thought provoking lyrics; it makes a pleasant change from the blandness so often heard on the radio these days. Tracks like `Self' and `Choice' are particularly good, both lyrically and musically. Actually, there is not one track on the album that I dislike. And Zallen is obviously a very accomplished musician in every sense of the word - he wrote, performed, produced and engineered the entire album himself! This is definitely a CD worth adding to your collection.
