The British seaside experience is portrayed oh so wonderfully in this anthology. These shorts made me feel as if the authors had bottled the essence of the seaside and delivered it to me in a smutty little package! I could almost taste the strawberry ice cream, and hear the buzz of electric from the dodgems.
Although I did have my favorite two stories--I'll never look at dodgems and ice cream in the same way again--all the stories in this anthology had merit. I heartily recommend a read if you fancy some smut down on the pier or a private ice cream tasting ;) One of my favorite summer reads this year.

I was lucky enough to win a copy of Smut by the Sea.
The edition I have is now treasured on my kindle, the stories a perfect length to read in the bath with a glass of wine!
I loved the collection which has been put together by the editors, ranging from romantic to steamy, candid to kinky but all together totally hot!
The stories are well written and well chosen to give the read splashes of differing versions of seaside smut and capture a real variety of som of the best erotic writers I have been lucky enough to discover so far.
Well done ladies, and thank you for a fabulous read.

What is it about the sand? I guess I need to move to the coast to find out.
There are 14 great story lines in this compilation.
Each story left you wanting more and it did not disappoint.

If you want to read a book that makes you feel like you are on vacation, then this one is it. Every single story in this anthology has what it takes to bring you instantly to the beach, or to whatever water side environs the author is writing about. From saucy ice cream vendors on the boardwalk to surprise ocean side dalliances, this anthology had me reading it over and over again. Good thing there will be a book two coming out soon! Just make sure you have a really big glass of ice water ready to go. These stories are smokin hot!
