This review is from: Snacks & Sandwiches (The Good Cook Techniques & Recipes Series) (Hardcover)
I went through this entire cookbook 2-3 times before finding a recipe that sounded worthwhile: Corndogs! And the recipe was awful. I'm a good cook, so I don't think it was me. I followed the recipe right. Ended up donating the book to the library after that one attempt.
The instructional portion at the front of the book (all in the Good Cook series have this) was somewhat interesting--this cookbook really covers a lot of things you might not think of as snacks (mayo-less deviled eggs, tongue sandwich, choux, etc.), or even at all--about a 2.5 on a 5-point scale where 5 is Great! |
