I use this book in my first grade classroom. It is great for predicting and for discussing cause and effect. I use it to help build my classroom environment at the beginning of the year as we discuss how our actions and words affect others.

This is a book loosely showing smiles/frowns being contagious. It's a great way for kids to learn to treat others as they would like to be treated. I do not buy many books, but we got this at the library and then bought it so we have it around all the time.
