Flash Carotene, Blush, Kernel, Silky Stalker and Banana Bolt are the SNAK POSSE. They are vegi-people whose bodies are part fruit or vegetable. Misunderstood and hated, they are hunted down by the underworld, police, and camel goons, as they race against time seeking a cure for a paralyzing drug that is enslaving teens and turning them into zombie-like creatures. Their quest for a cure takes them to alternate dimension Transverse 3, only to find the evil warlord Gash is using this drug to render earth's population helpless. Soon, he plans to invade earth in his blood thirsty hunt for more power. Powered only by the vitamins and nutrients of fruits and vegetables and the desire to fight injustice, will the SNAK POSSE prevail, or will earth be doomed to an eternity of Gash's evil mind bending control?! This is a 136 page black & white comic book.

Take that! Dastardly Junk Food
Kids don't like practical information disguised as "fun," but they might be fooled by two recent books that sugarcoat health propaganda with escapist entertainment. A fun read for all. Informative and entertaining for kids with just enough bizarre "comicbookness" to interest adults who enjoy fantasy. Excellent artwork. Hats off to the whole group that made this possible.
