Snake is the best of the three books so far!, March 20, 2006
A Kid's Review
I thought the first two books were exciting but this one is really action-packed. If you liked the others you should definately read this one. It takes the story of the five ancestors to all different places. The only thing wrong with the book is that it could be longer. I didn't want it to end. I can't wait for Crane to come out.

FIve Ancestors Snake by Jeff Stone, April 25, 2006
A Kid's Review
Snake was the most thrilling book yet in the Five Ancestors series.Basically, the whole story starts out at Cangzhen temple where five young monks have to flee after it was destroyed by a traitor. Each of them hurry into a forest and seperate in order to learn about there forgotten past.I like this book the most because it is full of awesome action pact events. BUT, don't feel that's all it's about. It's chock full of secrets that are yet to unfold. I can't wait for Crane to come out.I also suggest you get The previous books in the series which are Tiger and Monkey. Read this book with great care and an open mind.

A Must Read, March 10, 2007
A Kid's Review
The five ancestors series is an incredibly amazing book! I am a personal lover of hard fantasy but Jeff Stone has certainly piqued my interest. I suggest this as a great gift for any avid reader, or just a book for yourself.
Snake is certainly the best book in the series that I have read, and the first two are worth reading just to get to this book! The first five are of course great reads themselves, but Snake is on my favorite reads list. I can't wait to read Crane, the next in the series.
The series takes place in ancient China, after the destruction of Canghzan temple. The only survivors are 5 warrior monks, Fu, Malao, Seh, Hok, and Long, each a master of Tiger, Monkey, Snake, Crane, or Dragon kung-fu respectively.
This is great for any action-lover, fiction reader, or even a fantasty-lover. A must-read for all ages!
