One of the best CDs I've listened to in a long time. Marti has a beautiful, growling voice that brings back the 50s sounds of Janis Martin and Wanda Jackson. This CD has a great honky tonkin' rockabilly sound. I highly recommend this CD and if Marti ever comes to your town, check her out, you won't be sorry.

This cd finds Marti Brom sounding similar to Patsy Cline, however Brom swings a bit more, and her band falls in the lines of western swing and rockabilly, or hillbilly boogie. In any case the music swings, and brom has a full lucious voice and the band is exellent. Fun music.

And the backing band - the Barnshakers - are fantastic.
Check their new album as well. I'm looking forward of the new
album "Wise To You" by Marti Brom
