This book is a fun look at a hilarious phenomenon. Waldon takes a thorough yet easy-going approach to the material, and his obvious enjoyment of the whole SoaP story is infectious. I read it before I saw the movie (which I thought was a hoot), and I have to say it amped up my enjoyment of the pic. Also, it was doubly interesting to me as I work in marketing; it's a valuable look at our new global online culture, and the way in which fans can now take a marketing campaign and reshape it into something altogether unexpected. I bought copies for people in my office.
