I always heard snap-on makes good tools. I bought this for the plastic housing and the brand, replacing a rusted cord reel in a moist environment. It's working as expected so far (about 3 months); so no complaints. The glowing extension head helps you find it in the dark, and looks cool too.

I liked it and would totally have it up in action, but sadly it was a present that has never been used. I think it would be great quality but I can't really say for sure. Not too heavy, but still heavy duty. And the feed is smooth.

The reel came nicely package and includes a hanging kit for mounting it to wall or ceiling. It appears to be very well built, it should last a life time (I've got at least 20 years left). A good value especially for a Snap-on brand tool. Package arrived on time. Ace hardware contacted me by e-mail, I'd deffinitely buy from them again.
