My children received these toys for Easter. My boys are 11, 9, and 4 years old. Within 5 minutes, all of the airplanes broke. The planes are made of cheep styrofoam and breaks easily on impact. One would assume that a gun like launcher would have a spring in it to launch the airplane, but that is not the case. The user must be able to flick their wrist to have the plane fly. This is cumbersome and the plane doesn't soar as you might expect. Don't waste your money. This item should be sold in dollar stores only.

This toy looks a lot cooler than it is. The child has to launch the planes by flicking their wrist... disappointing but I would probably give this toy a 2 or 3 star review if that was the only issue. The biggest disappointment is that the planes are made of very thin styrofoam and break very easily. It isnt just from playing rough, even just picking it up off the ground can make a piece break off. And once all the planes are broken, they dont fly, and the toy is useless. This will give you about one use if you are willing to pay for that.
