When it comes to the basic function of holding your CD's this box gets the job done. It will actually hold just over 60 jewel cased discs, closer to 64. The cover material is a kind of faux leather sticker that has been placed over cardboard sides to make it appear professional. The click and snap sides will hold but can unlock if bumped even mildly. It's more than a shoe box but not even close to a solid case; however if you're looking for something affordable to temporarily store those extra CD's in I guess this will suit you just fine.

The snaps do unsnap and the box comes apart easily. I put Gorilla Glue on all of the snaps and now it is perfect. I filled both sides of the box and nothing comes unsnapped. I don't think I could unsnap it if I wanted Snap-N-Store SNS01658 Double Wide CD Storage Boxes Holds up to 330 cds (Glossy Black with Chrome Accents)to. I can move the box around as much as I want to and it stays perfect ! ! !
With Gorilla Glue, it is a snap ! ! !

This item is both simple and cheap. Since nobody I know are going to lug around 60 CD's with them, this storage method takes care of all of your needs and more. Sturdy and easy to put together (it took me 2 mins) it also offers the feature of stacking them when you decide to buy more.

This product is very poorly made. The snaps barely hold together. You really need to make sure you don't even look at the box wrong or the snaps will come undone. I put the box together and let it sit overnight. The inside center separator has glue on it that holds the snaps on the end of it. This had completely come apart by morning. I ended up having to super glue it myself. It is also not perfectly square thanks to the divider. I found that CDs fit loosely on one side and tight on the other.

Bottom Line: I would avoid this box and look for another solution.

This box was the solution I was looking for for my constantly growing CD collection.
It is a snap (pun-intended) to put together and stores easily on a shelf.
My CDs are kept in plastic sleeves instead of jewel cases, so I can fit hundreds(!) in one box. I recommend replacing all those bulky, fragile jewel cases with sleeves like the one Pro-Logic sells then file them alphabetically. Neat and attractive, an ideal solution to your cd storage needs.

This box is poorly made. CDs only fit on one side because the divider is defective or off center. Box falls apart when you pick it up.

Avoid this item. I will not buy anymore of these. It looks nice, but the snaps are not properly aligned and pop out. It would be better to have velcro or double sided tape. I will take out the snaps and just tape it together. As another wrote, it is just a glorified shoe box.

What an ingenious idea! It arrives flat, you snap it together (takes maybe a minute to do - super easy), and it holds tons of CDs. Even when you don't fill up one of the halves with CD's, it seems to be snug enough that they're not prone to falling over (at least while placing them into it). The outside does indeed look leathery. It holds even more than advertised (about 64 in full-size jewel cases) and is quite sturdy. A great, inexpensive solution to storing CD's!

A simple cardboard box is not only more cost-effective, it is also more functional. The snaps on these boxes will not hold. Every time I move the box, snaps start popping off. This is worse than having no storage at all.

Assembled in a minute fell apart in seconds. The snaps that hold the thing together are very weak and will unfasten without warning. The snaps that hold divider are hot glued to inside and fell off before I added any cd's. I would return but they charged me a 2 dollars more to ship than it cost to purchase.If they could be permanently assembled, they would be very good looking and functional. I wanted a dozen or more but will keep looking for something more stable.
