Now all that has changed. The Snap Shot Adapter, developed by Swarovski Optik, is an ergonomic and sophisticated little ring which turns the binocular into an objective lens. To make this work, you have to have a certain type of camera, ie, it cannot be a zoom. Even then the camera really cannot be secured to the binocular. It consistently falls out of the adapter.
