Nice Features, but not a good camera, January 9, 2007
This review is from: SnapBox AV80 7-In-One Digital Video Camcorder (Electronics)
PROS:
* Very nice looking (sleek and elegant)
* Lightweight
* Rechargeable battery
* All-in-one (Camcorder/StillCamera/VoiceRecorder/MP3Player, etc)
* Camcorder works great
* Lots of settings and configurations
* Easy to use
* Comes with craddle, USB cable and carrying pouch
CONS:
* Not sturdy at all (small on/off slide-buttons will fail in no time, LCD's open/close mechanism is very cheap and does not hold in position while open)
* Flash is too (I could say extremely) weak for indoor pictures (outdoor pictures without flash are OK)
* Somehow, it takes too long to take the picture (it flashes once, and after a while it flashes again and takes the picture, so persons photographed have already moved or appear with their eyes closed)
* Awful (blurred) pictures of moving objects/people
* Sound from built in speaker is too low (earphones are a MUST)
* Battery life is rather low
* Ergonomics are awful (difficult to take pictures without covering flash or lens with your fingers, design could definitely be better)
* Digital ZOOM is not very useful (distorts images at half the magnitude)
* My old Olympus 2-MegaPixel camera takes MUCH BETTER pictures (but is triple in size)

Not Worth the Money, January 27, 2008
This review is from: SnapBox AV80 7-In-One Digital Video Camcorder (Electronics)
When I first looked at this product I didn't think that it was going to be amazing, but I also didn't think it would be so bad for its price. You'd think that a camera worth nearly $200 would at least give you a little quality. The only pros for this camera are that it has a nice little sleek design and is very portable. However there are more cons than pros for this product. If there isn't a good amount of natural light in a room the pictures will come out looking orange, but that's only if you partially cover the flash with your finger on the camera. If I didn't do that the flash would make you look very bright, which is a real hassle if you want to take a nice picture because you might have to take it three or four times again to try and get it right. I suppose if you lived in an area with sun year round and like to take pictures outdoors then you'd like this camera though. This camera also horrible at taking pictures of objects in motion and the end result is a huge blur. The video recording is decent, but the volume is very low so putting mp3s on this product wouldn't be that great. I was also surprised at the battery life on this product as it was very short. I didn't have a problem whatsoever using the software and connecting it to the computer as others may have. All in all when weighing the pros and cons you should spend your money on a different camera.

Not worth the money, April 8, 2007
This review is from: SnapBox AV80 7-In-One Digital Video Camcorder (Electronics)
When hooking to PC it worked a couple times and now doesnt work at all. Picture quality is terrible indoors unless there is ALOT of natural light. If you use the flash it is either too much light or not enough light. Pictures are blurry, whited out or orangey. Lots of features but that doesnt justify the cost when the picture quality is terrible.
