This review is from: Snapper 1695571 26-Inch Briggs & Stratton 249cc 1150 Snow Series OHV Gas Powered Self Propelled Two Stage Snow Thrower With Electric Start (Lawn & Patio)
Just finished using this machine on three driveways with at least 31 inches of snow. Sure, it took me a while but it did a fantastic job. Easy enough to control and plenty of power. I wish it was a little easier to steer but I got used to it. Took it down to bare pavement on both asphalt and concrete.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Snow Blower..just a few tweeks you need to do..., February 23, 2010

I received this blower after we had a Hugh snowstorm so I have not got to use it much in action. I have used it a bit for some slushy snow. The blower came in a sturdy crate which was about the hardest part of assembly to remove. With a few wrenches and 20-30min it was together. The Blower is actually Red not Blue like in the picture. The Briggs & Stratton engine started first pull and seems at 250cc to be very strong. There are a few things to note there is a wire coming out of the starter box that I believe is for a headlight which is not included (Did not find any info in set up about this wire so I was thinking something was not hooked up at first). The Blower also has 2 reverse gears at first R1 did nothing but if you adjust the length of the bar that goes to the gearbox (This is done with a few twists of the connector screw) it all works great.
