Run a small property management company and bought 2 of these mowers. Guys were so frustrated! Brand new, and mowers wouldn't start and stalled! Took one employee to buy a new mower from Sears last weekend. I asked Sears employee what we had to do to new mower to make it run. She said nothing but add oil and gas. She said new spark plug was installed when it was assembled. Asked her what that meant, and she said new mowers come with RJ2 spark plugs to meet CA emission requirements. They don't work at altitude of 7,000 ft. She informed mowers need spark plug of RJ19 or higher. Haha...changed spark plugs and mowers are a dream! Start with one pull and keep running! Great power.

Used the Snapper mower twice. During the 1st week's use, the Snapper plastic 'SE' front end cover came off while cutting the grass. The 2nd week's use saw one of the rear plastic wheel cover fall off. Can hardly wait to see what happens this weekend. Had a lot of inexpensive mowers in my time, this one is more costly but badly pieced together. Snapper should be better than this. Fortunately, the operation of the mower has no issues, yet.

I have owned 2 snappers push mower 30 years prior to buying this snapper ninja mulcher in April of 2013 used it 3 times then the motor would not stay running to to the dealer and they told me before looking at it that it was probably trash and that snapper would not warrant it , after getting it back in May after paying $70 I notice on the receipt that they had rebuilt the carb but also replace a bad chock arm , had back sugary 2 weeks latter and had my lawn done by someone else , so in July got it out to start using it again and the rear will broke off , yes guesss what the dealer aid that said that snapper would not warrant that , $40 more lawn more ran good for about 3 weeks and then stated not staying started are run real bad , well figuring that snapper would not warrant anything like my dealer says , I took the top cover of and noticed if I jiggle the plastic chock arm back and forth for about 5 minutes it would stay running long enough to finish my yard (30 minutes) , I have had to do this all of 2014 starting in April till now , the dealer I bought it from is no help, they say it is just trash in the fuel ,, took it to a different repair shop who is not a snapper dealer and was told it was not trash bulit a poor designed carb buy Briggs and Stratton which who is Snapper

I love my Snapper! Runs great, starts great, feels solid (no jiggly arms) & moves quickly. Living in SFL is rough on mowers and this one's going to be around for a long while.

As a homeowner, here's my experience:

Easy to set up (no tools required and took less than 30 minutes, including time spent reading the directions).
Started first time (one pull, little effort).
Cut like a dream (middle height setting through grass that had not been cut for 3+ weeks; since last mower died). A single lever adjust the height on all 4 wheels.
The self-propel feature is quite powerful (squeeze too tight and you'll need to run to keep up).

Purchased from BrandNewEngines.com through Amazon: shipped within 24 hours of placing the order; delivered in perfect condition on the earliest possible date.

Update: After a year of use on our yard (nearly an acre), it still works reliably.
