Product Description

Pack of 3 (dayglo orange, dayglo yellow, white) The Snappi® is a safer, more reliable, EASY to use fastener for cloth diapers that replaces the nasty diaper pins. The stretchable non-toxic Snappi® hooks into the diaper material to make a strong closure. They work best with diapers that have a loose enough weave for the Snappi® to hook into. (Snappi® terry cloth diapers, cotton pre-folds, and others) Note they do not work well with flannel or other tightly woven diapers. How to use your Snappi®: To improve elasticity, stretch your Snappi® fastener a few times before use. Step 1: Hook left Step 2: Stretch across and hook right Step 3: Stretch down and hook center The Snappi® should go from a "T" shape to a "Y" shape when stretched properly. Warning: Always use a cover over a Snappi fastener. Keep out of children's reach when not in use. Do not use a Snappi fastener on toddlers that have the ability to undo or take off their cover/diaper/clothes. Do not use your Snappi for longer than 6 months. Not UV resistant - exposure to the sun can reduce the effectiveness of the Snappi. CAUTION: Any tear in the Snappi can lead to separation of a piece, presenting a possible choking hazard. Inspect the Snappi before each use and discontinue using immediately if there is any sign of cracking, tearing, breakage or wear of the teeth or any other parts. Do not cut a Snappi as this may cause tearing.

This time, no pokes or tears!!!

The Snappi is exactly what I needed, and has worked really well, even with the dense fabric of the hemp diapers.

Will definitely be buying the size two for later.

I would recommend everyone to buy a few packages, because they are like chap stick- they disappear and can be hard to find.

I got these to use with the hemp prefolds I use on my daughter at night. Diaper pins just weren't cutting it- the diapers were too thick and I was afraid of really sticking her in the belly when I was pressing so hard to get the pins through. The Snappi is exactly what I needed, and has worked really well, even with the dense fabric of the hemp diapers. I've decided that for our next baby we'll be using newborn prefolds with Snappis because they're so easy to work with and we won't have to buy disposables or deal with pins. I'm sold on Snappis and would recommend them to anyone needing a diaper fastener!

Ordered only one pack and that has been just the right amount. We use them with birdseye flat diapers as well as muslin flats and sometimes with prefolds (we barely use the prefolds). Snappi works with all three. The only issue I have is that with the muslin diapers if there aren't enough (about 3-4) layers of muslin the snappi actually reaches baby's skin which I assume must be very uncomfortable so I stopped using them with muslin diapers all together.
Sometimes the middle part detaches but I have not found this to be a problem as everything still stays in place, besides this might be in part due to the fact that I never secure the middle portion "too deep" since I am scared of hurting my boy there.
Despite that I worry about hurting my baby with the snappi I still find that this is a much safer option than a pin.
They are easy to wash and dry quickly.

Works OK, but not great. Wouldn't grip onto some of the diapers I used (variety of brands) and wouldn't stay put even on the ones it did. Would have better off sticking with traditional pins.

Makes diapering with prefolds a whole lot easier. Gives a nice snug fit, way better then pins. Will definitely be buying the size two for later.
