5.0 out of 5 stars Don't settle for less - Stuck Mojo is the best!
Stuck Mojo is easily one of the best and most underrated bands ever. This album is a must for any Mojo fan! The Mojo crew grooves like no other. Rich's tone knows no equal and the leads are perfect without a lot of excessive noodling about on the fretboard. No speed metal here - just pounding rhythms with rap type vocals. (Not to be compared to inferior groups such...

3.0 out of 5 stars pretty much the ordinary rapcore stuff
well, this album isn't bad. but it also isn't good. just pretty mediocre and forgetable. i heard it twice and there wasn't one song that really attracted my attention in beeing very good or very bad. the vocals are the normal rap, the guitar riffs are, well, pretty much the same you hear on every rock/metal record. i gave it 3 stars just because the cd is not bad, and in...

4.0 out of 5 stars "RAP-METAL", June 2, 2004

This review is from: Snappin Necks (Audio CD)
Metal with an attitude! Metal music perfectly fused with Rap-style lyrics. Not too many bands could pull this off but Stuck Mojo did! They have quite a few releases now but this is the one that got me into Stuck Mojo. "Pigwalk" is just as good, so if you're looking to try them out, go with either. You can't lose.

Rich's tone knows no equal and the leads are perfect without a lot of excessive noodling about on the fretboard. No speed metal here - just pounding rhythms with rap type vocals. (Not to be compared to inferior groups such as Limp Bizkit) Stuck Mojo succeeds with power not speed. This is the first of three incredible full length studio releases (put them all on your X-mas list!) A great live band also. Give a listen - you won't be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy as Fu&k!, December 4, 2004
This review is from: Snappin Necks (Audio CD)
This is it folks. This is some of the best metal guitar you will ever hear! If 2 minutes to death doesn't get you pumping your fists then not promised tomorrow should! If that doesn't then The Begining of the end should! Monkey behind the wheel blew me away and I must have listened to that song 100 times because it builds and gets you so pumped up with the story! This is a Awesome cd!!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of a good band, August 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Snappin Necks (Audio CD)
This album was Mojo's first steps into the metal world to prove they had sack. The lead track "Not Promised Tomorrow" has enough energy for the whole album and delivers a hit like a .45 slug. The song is enhanced 10 fold when viewed with the video. The rest of the album is not as powerful (F.O.D. is close) but it all leads to the next two albums which more than make up for it.

Although the mojo crew never made it huge, they are a great band. I think this is definatly the best album they ever released, and no band is better live. They arent completely gone though, you can still catch Rich and Dan in the as of yet unsigned ...
