About the Author

Bradford G. Wheler is the former CEO, President and Co-owner of Allan Electric Company. He sold the company to a New York Stock Exchange list utility company back when the stock market was hot. Brad retired after staying on as President during a transition period. Brad's life long love of history, art, books and the humor in man's nature lead to this book and the founding of BookCollaborative.com. His community involvements include being a Trustee of Cazenovia College, A member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Cazenovia Area Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Alumni Association President of Sigma Phi Society at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Brad hold's a BS and ME in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He has a MBA degree from Fordham University in New York, NY and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York and several other states. He is also a graduate of the Manlius Pebble Hill School. Brad lives with his wife Julie and their golden retriever Quincy in Cazenovia, NY

This book was fun to read and one that I will keep close by to look at in the future. None of the quotes are boring and most will make you laugh out loud. I think that it appeals to people of all ages and different senses of humor because I've showed it to all of my family and everyone loves it. I'd definitely recommend it over any other quote book I've ever seen!

From the moment I first received my very own copy of Snappy Sayings, I found myself leafing through the pages looking at the various quotes and sayings included from such a wide spectrum of notable people who lived in diverse cultures of years gone by, right up to the more current generational influences. Snappy Sayings will be one of my coffee table reference books that I will both treasure and maybe even pull an occassional quote from to impress my friends and family members, since I have no "snappy sayings" of my own to share... Thank you Brad for compiling and sharing your personal collection of quote and sayings throughout the years.
