The Snappy Sounds books are great, but I got one from Amazon and the one page did not play music. I ordered them because a few were half price. But it is probably best to buy these at a store so you can make sure each page plays music.

Cute book, but the one that I receive makes no sound. Could be a blessing in disguise, but either way, it's poor quality.

The Snappy Sounds books are fun -- my blind grandson likes the sounds, and my sighted granddaughter likes the pop up images. They are fun topics, like the Halloween "BOO" title.

My 18 mo old LOVED this book. He was so engaged with the sounds and colorful illustrations he didn't even think of ripping the pop-up features. The illustrations are very sweet, not too scary. The sounds were classic Halloween. I'm going to be getting more of these Snappy Sounds books.

I LOVE this book. I recieved it as a hand-me-down for my daughter from a friend and it is something I will keep forever. My kids love the spooky sounds it makes and the pop-ups. I had to replace my orginal this year after my 2 year old tried to eat the pop-ups but it is a wonderful book that really gets you in the Halloween spirit!

My 4-year-old adores the colorful illustrations and fun sounds that accompany each pop-up. He can already read, so he enjoys reading it aloud as well, and together we imitate the spooky sounds. If you have kids under 6, they will enjoy this book. A great read for Halloween or any time of the year for your little spookster!

As of 8/24/11, Amazon is offering this book for less than $5. This book is definitely worth that price. It's a sturdy hardcover book with cutesy pop-ups of traditional Halloween characters/monsters. So, small children shouldn't be scared of the artwork, but the sounds can be creepy to the under 4 set. The title is true: they are "spooky sounds" (especially that screeching witch:))

This is a cute book for Halloween but a little scary. My little girl is two and was a little hesitant when we read this the first few times. Great for older kids!

Bought three of these for a Halloween surprise for my grandchildren. They all love books and I expect this will be a bit hit!!

I bought this when it was on sale, so for the $5 I spent on it I was impressed. Each page has it's own musical tune and I was happy that unlike some other reviewers all of them worked. My daughter loves this book! The only negative thing I can say is that the front cover is a bit beat up.
