Editorial Reviews

Review

From the reviews of the second edition:

“This is a quick reference on the concepts of hemodynamics and their clinical relevance. … The book is written for students and research personnel who seek a conceptual understanding of cardiovascular hemodynamics. Concise chapters with simplified diagrams and graphs provide clear descriptions of the principles of hemodynamics. … A reference list ends each chapter. This well-written reference meets the needs of its audience. The authors have effectively presented a complex subject in a concise book, in an easy to understand, user-friendly format.” (Dharmendrakumar A. Patel, Doody’s Review Service, December, 2010) --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Short but very good, October 29, 2011

Emre Aslanger (ISTANBUL, Turkey) - See all my reviews
This is a must-have book for clinicians who are fond of hemodynamics and arterial mechanics. The only drawback of the book is not being so comprehensive. Nonetheless, i strongly recommend it. And i also recommend amazon.com not taking into account complains about delivery issues, as in this example. A customer had given only one star to this book because of delivery problems, but there is nothing this book could do about it. I give 4 stars, if page number is doubled in the next edition, i will definitely give 5 stars.
