CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT STORAGE BOX Great way to store ornaments.
M. Smith
The cardboard inserts can be adjusted to hold small or large ornaments or you can leave them out to hold large or odd sized items.
Frugal Mom
I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again because they had good service, I just won't order this particular item again.

This box is a great idea, but what you can't see in the photo is that the cheap cardboard dividers that come with the plastic box do not fit into the grooves inside the plastic box. They just fit together grid-style inside the box. That means the ornaments aren't secured, and for heavy ornaments won't work at all.

This would be great if you were trying to store cheap ball ornaments from Walmart... but I'm not, so I'll definitely be returning this for something with secured dividers.

For years I have grappled with several cardboard and plastic storage containers of various sizes, resulting in ornaments broken/hard to find, etc. I found this storage box online and bought 5. ALL of my ornaments plus several strands of beads, lights, and other decorations fit in them perfectly. The snapping layers are very sturdy. The dividers are cardboard but they are heavy cardboard and can be arranged in at least 2 different ways to accommodate ornaments of different sizes. I am extremely happy with these and wish I had bought them years ago.

The ornament storage boxes are solid enough to store breakable ornaments. The cardboard inserts cushion glass ornaments better than plastic would.

I am very happy with this product. I bought six trays and my Christmas clutter is now completely organized. I even left the inserts out of one of the layers and stored our stockings inside.

You can use all the dividers for small ornaments or only two in each direction for large glass balls. I put the extra dividers on the bottom so that I could readjust next year if we get new ornaments.

I already had one ornament box with opaque sides but it is much nicer being able to see what is inside. I think to store all the ornaments from a typical tree plus stockings and garlands 9 trays would be perfect.

The plastic tabs which clip the trays together don't seem very breakable to me. They aren't very thick or hard to snap together, so I guess they could break, but I didn't have any problem.

I have hunted high and low for the perfect ornament holder. I have yet to find one but this item is pretty close. I have, in truth, purchased the four layer container but the two layer container is built in the same fashion sharing the same pros as well as cons of its taller twin brother.

Some of the issues I have had with other containers that are plastic are that the lids and sides are curved so storage is not straightforward as I would like it to be. Containers do not stack, space is wasted, etc. Also, sometimes lids are lose and elements have gotten into the container.

The Snapware Ornament has been a good filler as I continue onto my search but, in truth, I am content with these as is.

The lids are secure when snapping together. Since it is built in layers you do not have a huge box to have to dig through to get to the bottom layers. There is a carrying handle that I can use and feel confident will hold the container without having to hold the bottom.

My only complaint is the dividers. There are grooves in the inner part of the container but the dividers do not line up with these groves. Also, the dividers are about 1/8 of an inch short of touching the sides of the container so the dividers do have give and slide around. Some of my ornaments are not held in place due to this fact and so the glitter has rubbed off as the container jiggles while being carried requiring me to pack the ornaments extra special and snug in each slot.

Overall a good product worth the money.

I purchased these recently because I have antique ornaments in paper boxes from the 50s and 60s. Since the boxes were deteriorating, this was the perfect solution. It should be noted that the Snap 'N Stack plastic is not very durable and easily cracks / breaks. My original order was damaged -- it was cracked at the snap, so 2 bins were unusable. A replacement set was sent, and much to my dismay, was also damaged. A piece had broken off at the corner; creating very sharp edges. Sadly, this one too was unusable. So, of the 2 sets received, 5 out of 8 bins can be used. My advice is to be very careful when using the 'snap'. On a good note, these are large and the ornaments fit nicely. Since the dividers are optional, bins can also be used to store wrapping paper, bows, tags and all other decorations other than ornaments. I still like them very much, even though they are made from low quality / brittle plastic.

I was so thrilled to finally find something that would fit my large and small valuable ornaments. I bought these last year after Xmas, but when I retrieved them this year, all of the clips that hold the stacks together broke! Now, I have separate bins that are uncovered because the lids can't be latched down, and the handles are on the lids, so they cannot be stacked and hauled around. They won't last one year, so they're junk!

These would be great if the cardboard inserts fit into the slats. Mine were too short and I ordered 3, so I am assuming they are like that on all of them. I did use them and I feel reasonably safe that my ornaments will be protected. Be careful not to put down too hard as these are not cushioned and the bottom of the ornaments are not protected. Next year I will probably get bubble wrap to put in the bottom.
