Great for leftovers, liquids, and dry-food storage, the 100-percent airtight containers include matching lids with four easy-to-open and -close latches that work together with a silicone seal to keep foods fresh and to prevent liquids from leaking. Simply press all four corners down on the lid and snap the latches. The title pretty much says it all -
- They nest beautifully, with a very intelligent design to keep them from sticking together (not sure why other reviewers think they don't) - They go in the dishwasher - They're made of polypro and silicone (relatively safe plastics, not like polycarbonate or PVC) - They don't leak. At all. Not even when immersed in water. - And, they're made in the USA. What more could you ask for? (Well, a container that can fit sandwiches. This set doesn't have one, but the other sets do - look for the container that's two squares by one square on top, and two rows deep)

I originally bought Snapware at Costco in 2007. I loved them. We recently had a house fire and lost most everything. I really wanted my Snapware again so I ordered it through Amazon.
The reason I like Snapware so much is because they stack nice, dishwasher safe, and sturdy. I love the lids because my husband takes his lunch to work and they don't leak and the lids stay locked.

I soiled my backpack for the last time. A couple of weeks ago I was sitting on the bus with my backpack on my lap when I got this wet sensation, Soup! Now I have only had these for about a week but I am impressed with the craftsmanship. By using O-Rings, it only takes a little pressure to seal the tops and they are certainly leak proof even when bouncing around in my pack. Arrived at work with the soup container upsidedown and not a drop leaked out. And they do stack! I am already looking to buy more.
