Made of see-through shatterproof Flexiglass, this 10-piece dry-food canister set provides an oxygen barrier 40 times greater than other plastics to keep moisture and air out. The square-shaped stain- and odor-resistant containers come with convenient snap-lock lids fitted with a special silicone seal to ensure airtight storage. The set includes a 120-ounce container that measures 5-1/2 by 4-3/4 by 10-3/4 inches, holding up to 15 cups worth of cereal, chips, flour, or rice; two 64-ounce containers, each measuring 5-1/2 by 4-3/4 by 8-1/2 inches and holding up to 10 cups of sugar, crackers, or cookies; and two 32-ounce containers, each measuring 4-1/4 by 3-3/4 by 6-1/4 inches and holding up to 4 cups of candy, trail mix, nuts, or coffee. A 1/2-cup scoop, 1/3-cup scoop, and a 1/4-cup scoop are also included. The containers can go in the freezer or refrigerator, but should not be used in a microwave or placed near hot surfaces above 120 degrees F. To remove the lid for cleaning, snap open and unscrew the top. The containers and lids should be hand washed only and dried with a soft towel or left to air dry.

Great value! July 19, 2006
Got these at a Target store nearby, rather than online. This is a really good value, as the same products (not even including the scoops) would cost over $28 if purchased separately.

The large 120 oz holds a 5 lb bag of flour, and I've been looking for a while for a convenient, attractive container for that. I will be stocking up on these to do my whole pantry.

The one-handed, one-motion snap lid is a life-saver, especially if you have kids in the house. If it's not quick and simple, it just doesn't get closed up at my house. With these containers, it only takes a quick smack and it's closed up tight. So convenient, even the 15 year old will do it (I can't tell you how many stale "reclosable bags" of stuff I've thrown away).

For me, these are awesome. I would highly recommend them.

Great storage containers September 22, 2005
By Ginger
I have been using Snapware containers for over 6 years. They are the best canister type storage containers on the market. I have purchased many 10 piece square container sets and individual pieces. I like them better than Tupperware or Rubbermaid. I've never had a Snapware container to break, they are very durable. Some of my containers are over 6 years old. The 120 ounce container is perfect for a 5 lb bag of flour or sugar. I have all my baking supplies (flour, sugar, baking soda, cornmeal, etc, etc.) and other pantry items (dry beans, pasta, popcorn, etc.) stored in Snapware. They are truly airtight and will keep your flours and grains fresh. I also use them in my freezer to store flours and grains that are susceptible to rancidity. Snapware is great for panty storage.

Works like a champ! February 20, 2007
When you live in Hawaii, things can get staled very quickly. If you leave bread or chips out for a couple of hours, you may as well throw it away. Since we moved here, we found ourselves throwing away a lot of food (and money). As a result, I have been searching for a long time for a solution to keep cereal, chips, etc. fresh. We tried those big clips but they didn't do the trick. We tried other storage containers, no luck. Zip-lock bags were OK, but it was a hassle buying them, the cabinets looked messy...well you get the point.

Snapware was the answer to our problems. It is just fantastic. It keeps the food fresh. I have had snapware for a few months and nothing has gone staled. It is easy to use. The handles are nice (my kids can hold the containers), the lids are easy to snap open & close and cleaning is simple. Lastly they keep your cabinets organized and the containers look good too. I highly recommend this product.

Not as great of quality as used to be!
I have owned these containers for years! Recently bought this set because I wanted more. Lids are not as sturdy and do not seal as well. They also are thinner plastic. Read more

Good Choice for Dry Storage
These containers are lightweight. The plastic is thin, but seems sturdy. The flip-top lids are nice. They latch securely and are wide enough to get your hand inside. Read more

Junk
When I first purchased these I thought they were great. I started finding bugs in my cereal so I put water into the container and set it on it's side. Water came out! Read more

These containers are great!
These canisters are exactly what I was looking for. They neatly store together being square, and the air-tight lids are great.

Decent
There aren't a lot of products out there to compete unfortunately. They aren't very thick, so I imagine they aren't very durable. They are not that tightly sealed when closed. Read more

superb alternative to tupperware, etc

ok
The material feels cheap... I'm a bit weary about using this product when I feel the material. Also, the tops don't exactly close right... are they really airtight? I don't know...
