I had never done face painting when i purchased this for our company BBQ. The kids loved the face painting, and it was so easy to work with. Definitely will use it again. It stayed on for mostof the day through volleyball, water balloon fights, races and kids just plain horsing around. I loved it.

I purchased this several weeks before my sons third birthday. I was doing a spiderman themed party and wanted to have face painting as one of the activities. It arrived a little later than I had hoped but thankfully I had ordered it well in advance. When I recieved it I had never painted anything on anyones face before and watched a youtube video on how to do a spiderman style face painting. After I watched the video I practiced on my kids faces before the party! Face painting is pretty simple if you are sure about what your painting. I did spiderwebs on everyones cheeks at the party and they all loved it and thought it was a great activity. I like the paint and it worked fine... you can strech it a little further if you add a couple drops of water! I ended up using makeup sponges because the ones provided didnt hold up well and getting some small fine paint brushes worked much better than using the ones it came with. Overall I was very pleased and cant beat the price!

My nephew and I had a great time with these face paints. My only complaint is that the paints arrived with no black or white in the color pallet. Most of the sample faces included in the brochure used black and white and I was disappointed these basic colors were not included. The paints washed off easily.

These paints are smooth and worked out great in 90 plus weather. They became softer and were still easy to use and remained on the faces of the little ones running around in the sun. Tray made it so easy to use and a little does go a long long way.

I bought this kit so that I could use it at my twin's 3rd birthday party. It was SO easy to use. It says it comes with enough to paint 50 full faces, but I was skeptical when I saw the tiny quarter size paint cakes. But I'm sure it's true! I did about 10 basic designs before the party to get a handle on it. You can't even tell that I have used them.

Cons: You will probably need a black and a white to do a lot of projects
I had paint brushes of different shapes and sizes - you may need more than the one it comes with

My 6 year old daughter kept seeing tv commericals for Snazaroo, and, after having had her face painted in Disney World, she begged me to try the paints. I had never done face painting and knew nothing about different brands or techniques. For kicks I ordered the 8 color sparkle kit along with some white and black. I have to say the paint is everything we wanted and more. It blends easily, dries fast, and stays on. The day we got the kit I ended up painting my daughter and 2 of her neighborhood friends. The paint is just so easy to use, even for a novice. It covered better than any halloween make up we've ever tried, and looked fantastic, even hours later. And it was NO trouble getting off - I didn't even have to use soap. My daughter wanted to be a white dog with black spots, and even the black came off right away without staining the skin. I am amazed at how affordable it is considering the quality of the product. I am looking forward to trying the stencils and stamps next. Finally, a kid friendly product that is exactly what it advertises itself to be. I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone of any age, and everyone on my block is now Snazaroo crazy!

This 8 color pallet only came with 6. It was missing black and blue. Still plan on using, but will have to buy another brand to get the colors I need. Would not recommend purchasing this item.

From the picture it kind looks like black and white are included. But they are not! I should have read the description better. Now I have to buy more. It is kind of pearly, some colors seem more pearlized or they just show up better than others.

My 4 year old daughter was really excited about this present. We have a lot of fun using these paints. I like the instruction book with it, however you really have to have a bit of practice to achieve great results. For a bit of home fun, it is good enough. Oh, I would have liked to have black colour with it too.

This brand of face paint is great and easy to use. Non irritating to the kids face. Professional quality. Don't make the mistake of getting cheap brands or using craft paint. This is the way to go! It doesn't seem like a lot of paint (quantity) but paints a lot of faces.
