Don't waste your money,

Not enough give or bend. They slide right down the baby's legs. Do what I did... go buy a pair of wrist sweat-bands (found in the sporting goods section) at your local walmart. Cut a little hole out of the "back" of each band and then cut a little slit above it and then below it (this gives the band some give). Slide those over your baby's knees and you'll be set. Much thicker and softer!!!

We put these on our baby, and he stopped crawling. He just sort of dragged his legs behind him. He most definitely did not like the kneepads and they hindered him completely. We took them off, and sent them back. Dont waste your money or time on this item.

Great for special needs child!!!,
This review is from: Snazzy Baby Knee Pads (Baby Product)
Fantastic!!! Our daughter is 2 years old. She cannot walk and uses her knee pads everyday to protect her legs. They are a life saver. Before these knee pads, she would get terrible sores on her legs from crawling. She is about the size of a 1 year old, so finding knee pads small enough was a challenge until now. Thank you Snazzy Baby!!!

We purchased these knee pads for my "active" 7 month old crawler. She loved wearing them and even liked to help put them on. It really saves her knees. Well, I think the dog liked them too, because he chewed up one of the knee pads. I contacted Snazzy Baby and asked if I could purchase 1 knee pad and I then told them my story. They not only replaced the pads, but didn't charge me for the new ones! Way to go, wish more companies were like this! Highly recommend!Snazzy Baby Knee Pads, Princess Pink

Great idea but needs improvement.,
This review is from: Snazzy Baby Knee Pads, Starfish Blue (Baby Product)
The first and most important thing about these pads is that they won't stay put for a long time. My son is a power crawler and they slip right off. You'd have to make them so tight that it would stop the blood flow in order to keep it in place. It drove me crazy adjusting them all the time. The other thing is the bulkiness. It really bothered my son and as much as he could he'd try to pull them off. I guess not very comfortable from his point of view. The material could be a bit more durable too. I'm afraid we didn't have much luck with these.

Only buy if your baby is bone skinny!,

These knee pads are well made and padded but the straps are not stretchy enough or long enough so it will leave purple marks on your baby and cut off their blood supply! My son was 6 months old when I got these and he is not chubby at all just a normal breast fed baby with normal chubby legs and these will only work if your baby is SUPER skinny. If they change the straps on these it would be a good product.

Fits a toddler!,

I wasn't sure if this would fit my 2 year old since all the reviews seemed to be coming from parents of infants just learning to crawl. My daughter seemed to be going through a clumsy stage where she'd skin her knee then re-open the same scab again and again by falling some more. I was worried that she'd be left with permanent scars (which isn't the end of the world, but is a sort of unsightly reminder on my own legs of my rough and tumble tomboy childhood), so I got these kneepads. I can tell that they are a fairly high quality item, made with plenty of padding and stitched very well. The velco is adjustable; I can see that they could be a bit bulky for a crawling infant, but it will certainly last you through your walking and biking toddler years too. They fit my daughter just fine, but I have to say that unfortunately, she refused to wear them for very long. She couldn't get the velcro off herself, but she managed to push the whole kneepad down her leg to her ankles. Oh well, it was a great idea and well executed.

Better than other knee pads out there,

My daughter had been getting severe carpet burns on her knees from crawling on our Berber carpet and wood floors and with the warm weather, I don't want to put her in pants all the time. I started looking for infant knee pads and was very unsatisfied with the other options out there. They were way too thin. The Snazzy Baby Knee Pads are GREAT! They are soft and squishy for her little knees but are very durable. She does get a little bothered by them once in awhile and tries to take them off but I think she just wants to play with them. I would highly recommend these knee pads especially since they will be able to be used for years to come; even as elbow pads for me!!!

We bought these knee pads after they were recommended by our daughter's PT. She wears them both at home and at daycare and they do not get in her way at all. They are well constructed, and for all the times they get put on and taken off of her every day they have shown little to no wear and tear. They are also easy to clean. I wish there were more color options.

These are much better than any other knee pad on the market. My 9 month old bruises very easily and these have saved her knees. There are only two things about the product I'm not crazy about: (1) They stay on best if they are put on underneath clothes, directly on the legs. I found that they kept sliding down if put on over clothing (2) They make the knees very warm, a possible negative in the summer.
