This is not a fast paced shoot 'em up by any means but it's a decent strategy game. It's similar to the previous Sniper Elite games except that this campaign takes you into the desert to fight the Nazis. The graphics have a few glitches from time to time but overall it's not bad. The slow motion bullet cam is kinda cool at first but gets old after a while. You can just skip it if you want. I found the missions to be challenging in Marksman mode. You really have to use the environment and plan your moves in order to make it through some of the levels. In the Cadet mode, it's ridiculously simple to survive. In the current drought of decent games for the Xbox 360 this was a purchase that I didn't regret as I have for the last several games. If you liked the previous Sniper Elite games, you should definitely try this one.

I think I'm going to like this game as much as I like Sniper Elite V2.. Next day.. Yup I like it a lot. Requires some thinking and good planning. Great game. Much later.... Yup.. This is a good game. Much later.. I wish it let us skip like "Red Dead Redemption" after we mess up for the fourth time. I wish it had that option. I'M STUCK and can't play the rest of the game. Too hard.. I'm playing on cadet mode too. Much Later: Great game.

I bought the xbox 360 preorder that included gamestop weapon pack and the hitler dlc. I've only played an hour but can say this is a nice improvent over the last one. The intro is really well done to teach you the moves. Some of the game play is somewhat old school in the way AI moves about but again way better then the last one (i.e. you can sit by a door and shoot them one by one with a smg as they come after you). I'm excited that it is a game that centers on the DAK, which has been fascinating to me since Raiders of the Lost Ark. I'll give it five.

I've had it a week and still give it five. There is some glitches in xbox 360 graphics not consistently right. For example the kill cams sometimes are choppy and when you've tagged an enemy he remains white when he should be visible in the open but other times no problems. The sniper scope disappeared during the m1 rifle promotion but was able to get it back playing around with the weapons load out. I like the different strategies you learn as you go. Sometimes after a battle you find a sweet spot route you should've taken to avoid sun in your eyes or have a generator nearby to mask shots.

Ok, now after customizing my weapons using in part gamestop codes and while on the prison level things really got glitchy. I can crawl prone, but then when I stop it looks like my guy is standing up. When firing there is no weapon shown or its just hanging there. The bullets look to be shooting out of my head on the kill cam. Luckily the crosshairs work so was still playable but annoyed. This was a real cool level in stealth mode but once I freed the prisoner the glitches went to hell during a big firefight. I've also noticed it doesn't always start you on your custom save spot so you need to load it. Its a real fun game but why so buggy?

I really like the game. It has a lot more detail than the second one, but it has froze on the title screen not only on my console, but on my friends that I got for him as well, so we no longer play it. If it works for someone else, the co-op is very fun.

Very cool game. First, the gory visuals of each kill-shot are pretty entertaining. Some of the stealth take-downs are nice too. But these quickly satiate and you click past them to keep the game moving. The good thing is that the game gets harder as you progress. You can survive both by using stealth and by rushing in like a crazed maniac. The latter tactic is harder to pull off. but you get so many juicy targets all at once--you can really put your sniping to the test.

The ability to relocate is nice, but stupid. The enemy just walks away as if you were never there, and they fail to take cover. Reminds me of the old 007 games. Not a forgivable trait in a 2013-2014 game. Once you take advantage of this feature enough, you will guiltily pretend it never happened. Or, better yet, snipe BETTER!

The graphics are very much like Call of Duty. The maps are too linear and confining, but they do not keep the game from being fun. You have one or two ways to go, but you can choose how you slaughter Nazi's on the way. You're never FORCED to snipe or knife or go Machine Gun Kelly (the Irish gangster--NOT the lame rapper).

The voice work is mediocre. The sound effects are mediocre. Be Clear: You're buying this for the sniping. Each map is like a private COD match in which you are the only good guy, and the bad guys don't run around like toddlers on crack.

As long as this game stays at 20 bucks or lower, it is a GRRREAT BUY (Al Pacino's voice)!!!

I really love this franchise and played Sniper Elite V2 twice through. The replayablity is high and there's always multiple ways to tackle a level. I love how tense the situations are - and you never know when you might get popped off by another sniper. Not sure why this one (III) wasn't as compelling as the first. I liked the level design, but found the previous one more fun to play. The slow-motion cam seemed to pan in awkwardly or at odd angles, leaving me wondering what damage I had done to an enemy. Overall, this is a fun game and well worth the $40. Good job, Rebellion.
