I haven't purchased this product but feel, in its defense, that it deserves better than two stars from people who clearly were misled by the words "organic cotton bassinet pad" into thinking that this was for a crib. My husband and I were uncertain what part of "bassinet pad" looked like "crib" or "crib mattress cover," and hope other people might give the product a chance, perhaps by correctly reading the product description!

I got this on clearance at babies r us, and even though it is square it fits fine over the oval bassinet pad i own. I think that this is a good quality product I like the padding and love that the organic pad will be in closer contact with my baby and not the original vinyl pad, and I can't wait to try it out once my daughter arrives. A nice economical alternative to buying a whole new pad to use.

I bought this as a waterproof cover for the Bugaboo bassinet mattress. It works great. A tiny bit too big, but tucks in to the edges make it fit just fine. My baby pretty much lives in that bassinet, with this cover, and seems very happy. It's soft and easy to machine wash and tumble dry. I imagine it would also work fine for other bassinets. The poor reviews must have been written at a time when this product was mis-titled. I think it's a great product and the poor reviews don't apply anymore, since it's clearly stated as a bassinet pad.

i bought this pad for my uppa baby bassinet, but when i got it, it was square and too big. it says it's organic cotton which i always assoicated with being soft. but was kind of stiff because of the liner. i ended up returning it.

I give this 2 stars simply because the product is supposed to be organic cotton, but since I can't use it, I can't say how it has worked out.
When I looked at this listing, I foolishly assumed it was a crib mattress size pad. It doesn't say in the heading that it is bassinet size. Not until you scroll half way down the page to 'Product Details' does it say or give any size dimensions. I must have missed that before I ordered. I would urge Amazon to have this product's heading changed to include the words 'bassinet size' or 'bassinet pad'. Or at least move the product details UP closer to the top of the page instead having us scroll past unrelated stuff making us think we've come to the end of the product's description. Even at check out there was NO mention of size to help the buyer be sure they had the correct product.
I passed the pad on to a second hand store as a donation. I could have contacted Amazon about the mistake, but since the information technically IS there & I just didn't see it, I chose to eat the cost.

I thought I was getting a crib mattress cover as the picture shows. However when it arrived it was a cover for a bassinette matress. I returned the item and had to pay $5 shipping.

Never took this out of the package because it's basinette sized, but it's not worth the trouble to send it back either. When I went back on Amazon to find a crib-sized replacement, which I still need, I almost overlooked the tiny mention of "basinette" again. Get it right Amazon!
