Nice quality without ANY chemical smell that some of the other waterproof items have and very plush. Washes well. The pad is much bigger than shown in the picture- be sure to read the item details. It's a very good size to use in an adult bed for co-sleeping to catch any diaper (or milk) leaks, but too big to use as a lap pad. Could also be used for diaper changes.

The cotton was soft initially, but I was disappointed that it became somewhat rough after washing.

I ordered two of these off-hand when I was pregnant. Now I have four. I wish there was an even larger size now that my baby rolls and scoots on her belly all over the place - I'd love to have a rug- or bed-sized version. We change her diaper on this, have diaper-free time on it, play on it, and sleep on it. She is a major spitter-upper and this has protected anything she has sat on. She's also peed, pooped, and drooled on them. They clean up beautifully in the washing machine and don't need any special care (I just wash them along with everything else). Looking back over the many pictures I've taken the first 5 months of my daughter's life, this product is in over half of them!

I'm using this in my daughter's crib and I'm getting another for our bed for cosleeping. It's soft, has no smell and is a nice big size.

It nice and cushy. Does a great job keeping the changing area clean and dry when changing diapers. It's bigger than we need. We fold it in half and get twice as much use. We really like it!

I chose this slightly more expensive organic option, because many reviews about the cheaper options said that they pilled in the wash, sometimes melted, and that the polyester caused night sweats. I figured it made more "investment sense" to get just get the right material for the long haul, since we'd be potty training three children. I believe that decision paid off! The fabric worked great for my daughter's night time bed wetting. Nothing hit the sheets, she doesn't wake up sweating from laying on polyester, and it washed perfectly fine, since it's normal cotton! Great product and very reasonably priced, when you put it up against these cheap polyester alternatives. It's a great size for a toddler size bed or a crib. More importantly it's a great size for the size of a toddler body sleeping on it. It doesn't need to fit a whole bed in my opinion, as long as it covers enough surface underneath the child him/herself. For my 2YO, this was perfect size. She can roll and shuffle and still end up on the pad. Also, ignore the photo showing a smaller pad the size of a burp cloth. Go by the measurements listed in the product info, because that's the much larger size that you get. I will probably even use these under my 1YO who sleeps with her butt up in the air and therefore keeps wetting the fronts of onesies. And I'm definitely going to use it in June when my 3rd is born, so that we have something soft and absorbent to lay on while I'm breastfeeding at night. It's a brilliantly sized, multi-use pad! Love it! I bought 3, but with all these uses I'm tempted to buy 3 more!

I bought a few of these after reading stories about moms using them to layer between sheets on the crib for quick changes at night. Initially I put one underneath my own bedsheet while pregnant in case my water broke in bed. Fortunately that did not happen, but this pad would have worked well to protect the mattress. Recently, I put them on my crib mattress as my baby is now almost 5 months, but they are so fluffy, that I would be afraid the mattress would be too soft with even one under the sheet, so I do not want to increase risk of SIDS that way. Since we have not really had any night time leaks or "blowouts" yet, I am less concerned at this point. I think they might be better to put under the crib sheets when my child is a little older and not at risk for SIDS, but at higher risk for nighttime leaks. Overall, it's a good product and the best price is the two-pack on Amazon. Make sure you get the bigger size though.

We love this pad. It's soft, waterproof, and the perfect size. We put it on our bed when our baby is on the bed with us. We also use it for baby's naked time. It's great!

This pad made our lives so much easier! I bought 2 of them. One for our bed and one as a play pad on the living room floor. The pad was soft enough that we could lay our baby right on it and simply change it as opposed to changing and washing the sheets every day. We also bought 4 of the smaller version (2 2 packs). The larger one replaced the smaller ones as our baby grew.
