Product Description

Snorepin - The Smarter Solution Against Snoring
The new designed and real functional Snorepin is one of the best Snore Stopper products so far.
The Snorepin with its advanced anatomic and conical shape feels very comfortable in the nose and looks unobtrusive. It leads to a much
better breathing during nighttime. It reduces snoring and in doing so it helps to save your relationship. It?s also very cost effective.
2 pieces come in one package. They are dishwasher safe and you can use them for years.

Advantage to other Nasal Dilators.
A little slit makes the difference ! Nasal hair or nose hair is the hair in the nose. Its main function is to keep foreign or unwanted particles from entering the lungs.(Wikipedia).
This is one of the main advantages of the snorepin design. Not like other nasal dilators which has a plain surface, the snorepin is designed with little
slits on its surface. Because of that the nosehair has the ability to go between these little slits to filter the air in a natural way and catch airborne particles
and prevent them from reaching the lungs. In our days the nose hair is mostly trimmed to a few millimeters. So its more easy for the hair to find its way
through the little slits on the snorepin..

Antiallergic Polyurethane (produced without Latex).

It does not stop the snoring at all.

Made from uncomfortable hard plastic that puts pressure on the inside of the nose.

It fit, but didn't open that nostril nearly as well as a Breathe Right strip.

I have been using a CPAP machine for the last 4 years for my sleep apnea. The CPAP resolved my apnea problem and my snoring problem but I was still not pleased with my sleep patterns. It was the exception for me to get 7 hours of sleep in a night. I determined that my problem was nasal congestion which prevented me from breathing adequately while sleeping. I tried nasal strips but I didn't like how expensive they were and that they were sometimes painful to remove in the morning. After researching nasal dilators, I decided to buy the Snorepin. Initially I had some discomfort in one nostril but I resolved that by cutting the connecting bar between the two cones and tying the two cones together with some fishing line so they can't get too far up my nostrils. This allowed the two cones to move independent from each other. Since then, I haven't had the discomfort and have been sleeping quite a bit better. I can now usually sleep at least 7 hours per night or more. I recommend the Snorepin!

I have tried different snoring solutions: Mouth piece, Nose strips, Brez, ... and this one is the only one that is both working and nonirritating.
Below are my exps with all these products. Hope they can help you make the decision.

Mouth piece:
Pro: very effective
Con: sore jaw and teeth, and dry mouth after one night's sleep. It's not comfortable so you will probably find it on your bed or floor the next morning.

Nose strip:
Pro: it stays there on your nose all night; lots of sizes
Con: does not help much because it cannot lift nasal passage that much from outside; most of the time you keep snoring; hard to peel off your nose without enough water; skin gets irritated.

Brez:
Pro: stays inside your nose all night long for most of the time; opens your passage wider than strips do; 3 sizes.
Con: very low quality plastic rubber and cut that can easily hurt your nose. Must change after several uses because the link will definitely break up.

Snorepin:
Pro: Opens passage and almost eliminates snoring. Very good quality plastic that feels much better in the nose; Better design for air circulation.
Con: sometimes may fall off during sleep; a little bit too intruding the first time you insert it, but you will get used to it; 1 size only; White and transparent, may be hard to find if you lost it.

This product is not for everyone. I'm not an ear nose and throat doctor, but I have spent some time these past few weeks reading a bit about snoring, and have tried a few different approaches to dealing with my own situation.

I've been snoring now for over a decade, so loud that it usually keeps other people from being able to sleep in the same space as me. I had a sleep study done a while back that established that I did not have apnea, but they annoyingly had no advice on the snoring issue. But as I usually sleep alone, I resigned myself to the situation.

Then, I recently spent a few nights sleeping in dormitories with other people, and my snoring kept them up. Embarrassing, and unacceptable. I ended up not sleeping so that they could, and then taking extended naps in the afternoon, so that I could get some rest. I resolved then to take care of this snoring problem, if I could. I went online and began to muck about, researching.

This is what I learned: snoring is usually caused by an occluded airway. Snorers apparently fall out in two main categories, nasal snorers and throat snorers. The noise is usually caused by tissues vibrating in one of those two locations. You need to ascertain where the noise is coming from in your case. Have someone check on you while sleeping.

If you sleep with your mouth open, the solution may be to get a jaw sling to keep the mouth shut forcing you to sleep breathing through the nose. Your throat may also be constricted, usually due to being overweight or having relaxed throat tissues. They recommend losing weight, not drinking or taking sleeping pills before bed, or using those anti-snoring throat sprays to tighten the throat tissue, to address the occluded airway. Mouth pieces that keep the airway open could help, too.

I snore like a wild hog which is completely embarrassing for my dainty little nose. The main problem is that my nostrils are simply too compressed - particularly one side due to a bad deviated septum that couldn't be completely repaired. There isn't any way that a Breath Right strip will pull the sides up my nose open enough for me to breath. This Snorepin device is PERFECT! It didn't take long to get used to, and I don't even realize I'm wearing it anymore once I put it in. It completely opens up my nostrils so I'm breathing freely which prevents me from snoring at all. My husband is amazed! I admit that I wait to slip them into my nose when I turn out the light because I end up with a slight resemblance to Miss Piggy. But I suppose that's the point of the gadget - to open up those darned nostrils! Unfortunately, I frequently lose them in the bed just before dawn. If I start snoring at the point, my bunk mate is so sound asleep that he doesn't notice. But I'll gladly put up with search for it in the blankets each morning because there's an unintended benefit to this little flaw. I don't wake up in the morning light looking like Miss Piggy:)
